Ceas Crabpak, based on the picturesque Sunshine Coast in Queensland, is the largest Spanner Crab producer in Australia.

The company holds the majority of the quota licence for the entire fishery, which ensures a more consistent supply and superior product than anywhere else.

Ceas Crabpak is a family owned and operated business by Neville and Helen Rockliff. They are originally from Tasmania where the Rockliff Family is world reowned for its seafood and aquaculture ventures.

How do we catch Spanner Crab

Spanner Crabs are caught on traps called Dillies. This method of catching eliminates no bi-catch (other species).

Once the Spanner Crabs are on board they are placed into a tank which then continuously sprays a fine mist of salt water chilled to 16 degrees over the crabs, which keeps them moist and healthy until they arrive at our processing factory.
